Most all clients report very minimal discomfort during this treatment. We apply a compounded numbing agent prior to treatment to make your experience as comfortable as possible.

Before a PRP treatment, please come to your appointment with a clean, dry scalp & avoid using any styling hair products on the day of your treatment. Ensure proper hydration by drinking plenty of water and avoiding alcohol and caffeine. Refrain from anti-inflammatory medications like ibuprofen or aspirin, as they can affect the treatment's effectiveness. Discuss any supplements or medications with your healthcare provider. Your provider will review more specific pre-instructions at the time of your lab work.

Minimal to no discomfort is reported among clients for the Keravive treatment. In fact, most clients report it is a very enjoyable, relaxing experience. 

Side effects are rare with hair restoration treatments, but some clients may experience minor redness, swelling, or tenderness at the treatment site. These symptoms typically resolve within a few days. Although restrictions and downtime are minimal following the keravive treatment, you do want to avoid washing your hair and using a hair dryer for at least 2-3 hours after treatment.

The morning of your keravive treatment, we recommend that you do NOT wash your hair in order to get the most accurate assessment of the condition of your scalp and to get the most out of your treatment. Please avoid the use of all hair/styling products the day of your treatment. 

Please note: You must wait at least 2 weeks after receiving your keravive scalp treatment to chemically treat your hair. However, you must wait at least 48 hours after chemically treating your hair to receive a keravive treatment. Inform the practitioner of any scalp conditions or sensitivities. 

Results may vary per individual depending on the use of additional oral and/or topical supplemental methods used in conjunction with these treatments. Most clients will notice immediate results following the first treatment, optimal and long term results will be achieved and maintained with compliance to the recommended protocol described in the previous question above.
